Discover Kastellorizo with private or semi-private boat tours and authentic local experiences.
Small in size, but filled with more hidden spots, vibrant colors, and stories than many islands much larger than itself. Just two nautical miles from the Turkish coast, this tiny part of the Dodecanese has a unique character — peaceful harbors, clear waters, sea caves, secluded coves, and a sense of being far removed from everything unnecessary.
We grew up exploring these waters. We know which bays remain calm all day, where the sunlight hits the cave at the perfect time, where to swim when the harbor is busy, and which places are still worth visiting long after the photos are taken. Every pathway we share is rooted in authentic familiarity with the island, its sea, and its residents.
Self-drive or skippered experiences, designed around privacy, safety, and simplicity. Every vessel is inspected, photographed, and tracked before departure — because details matter at sea.
Every route carries a story.
From hidden bays and swimming spots to places you've heard about or simply want to discover, we build each trip around your time, your pace and the conditions of the day. The experience blends local knowledge with full flexibility — creating a private route that feels natural, unforced and entirely your own.
For groups of six or more, we can operate two boats side-by-side, keeping the experience together on the water.
DESIGN YOUR DAY
When the engine stops and the boat settles in a quiet bay, we create a calm moment on board — cold water and simple refreshments.
Onboard we offer a simple Greek picnic prepared from the harbour bakery and grocers. For full meals, we partner with selected local restaurants and cafés — ordered before departure and served onboard at anchor.
You eat where the only sound is the sea against the hull. It is not an add-on to the experience — it is part of the way the day unfolds.
Read the full story →Caretta caretta — the loggerhead sea turtle — has navigated the Mediterranean for millions of years. We share these waters with her, and we move accordingly: slow propellers, quiet passages, and full attention when she surfaces.
We reduce speed when wildlife is present. We avoid anchoring in sensitive seabeds. We keep distance, and we share this approach with every guest on board.
Reading the sea here is part of daily life. By morning, we already know where the water will be calm, how the light will fall, and how the day will unfold.
Kastellorizo Boats is a small, family-run operation based on the island year-round, led by father and son, Nektarios and Nikolaos. We are not seasonal visitors — this is our home, and these are the waters and landscapes we work with every day. We meet at the harbour, right by the church of St. George of the Well — a consistent point of departure since the beginning.
Kastellorizo Boats exists to connect guests with the island of Kastellorizo and its wider landscape — by sea and on land — in a way that is calm, authentic and guided by local knowledge.
Each experience, whether by boat or on foot, is designed to reveal the character of the place, offer context to what you are seeing, and create a genuine connection with the island and its surroundings.
There are no fixed prices listed online. Share your dates, group size and preferred type of experience, and we will respond with tailored options based on conditions and availability.
